I read your post to Jordon and appreciate your candor. When my son asked to have a dragon and being ten years old at that I was concerned about the longevity of the relationship as kids tend to be flippant with their wants. I had him to a homework project that detailed the Beardies wild life and enviroment and then do a worksheet on how he would care for it by buying books on the subject. He got great marks in school for it but in the end it was I who ended up loving the beardie and deciding to buy one. They are better then cats. I definately agree that research before purchase is critical to the wellbeing of the dragon. Like fish its habitat must be set up and operating before the new pet arrives home. Son ended up settling for a cat.
