inuyasha should pick Kagome because she is devoted to him. She makes him so happy. Plus he loves her and always wants her to stay by his side. Kikyo really does not love Inuyasha no more. When Kagome saved her Kikyo did not to be saved to see Inuyasha again. So Kagome loves Inuyasha and he loves her too. Its that simple.
