In the great scheme of things, we should not outlive our children, so when a parent loses a child, it is unimagineably heart-breaking. A child's life cut short at any age hurts. It's a tribute to Bob and Sue that Rob made so many friends and was cherished for who he was. It is not surprising that Rob became the kind of person he was. His was a loving family. We knew them in Newark, Delaware, where Rob was born, just a couple of months before our son, Rob. We remember the Peraza family with great fondness, and are happy to know that Rob lived a full and rich life. I will continue to pray for Bob and Sue, Neil and Joan, because a loss like this will hurt for a long time to come.
