Dearest Rob,
I am looking forward to being in your city with our family for the Marathon. Yet, knowing that I can't wrap my arms around you saddens me. I know you'll be with us each step of the race. That knowledge comforts me and makes me smile. Seeing Neil sail by wearing your number is something I can't wait for. This has been a labor of love from him to you. I know you and Ita are smiling down big time on him. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and ache for you. Thanks for being there for me when I needed you as my Papi joined you in heaven this past August. Your presence in that hospital room was powerful. You knew I needed you and you didn't leave me alone. For that I am eternally grateful. Until we meet again, my godson. I love you forever,
