Hola all you members of The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Wayfarers, Wanderers and Adventurers,
Little Luke and I have done quite a few obligatories already including trimming the front bush which had grown over the sidewalk and was making passersby walk way around this slight imposition...Queen Alicia and ChaChi are still in 'big bed' watchin' the tele and catchin' a few winkie dozes as well...Being a master trout fisherman I can't sleep past 4:00am when Grandfather Folsom and I would get up and, after getting the gear together, would start walking the 2.5 mile blazed trail from our cabin to Blue Creek so we would be there by dawn's early light...Keep in mind that I would spend every 3-month summer vacation with this great man at our 1-room cabin that was built in 1850 at 7000 ft. elevation in the Stanislaus National Forest...These fabulous summer vacations lasted from age 6 to age 13 when my mother decided I needed to get a summer job to learn about makin' money...Gee thanks mom...My first job was pickin' string beans, .50 a bushel basket...You know how many darned#@%^$@@ string beans it take to fill a bushel basket??? I think my first paycheck was around $17.00...Never again!!! Trout fishin' comes first!!!
Yesterday 5-star Chef Alicia decided that we should go Mediterranean with an all-american twist as we had perfectly prepared chicken breasts with Madrid sauce as well as fresh asparagus put on the table San Joaquin delta style...Fully loaded baked potatoes were the anchors to this delicious and delightful culinary outing...Thanks dear!!!
Well Arhi the housekeeper will soon be here to I guess I'd better get ready to turn over the controls to her or get trampled...Have a good one all and we'll see ya later if not sooner...
