It's that day when we saddle up and mosey on down to the Fox California Corral and meet up with the likes of Roy and Gene and Wild Bill Elliot...There are trails to follow and rancher's daughters in blue checkered gingham dresses to rescue...Might even see a ghost rider or two around purple sage country..."Get 'em up scout" and "hi yo Silver away"'!!! Those thrillin' tales of yesteryear are upon us once again...
Alice is still in 'big bunk' with ChaChi while my faithful companion little Luke is with me as we once again ride again over hill and dale...I have already washed a hamperload, showered with gusto and have donned a pearl buttoned shirt, levi's and ridin' boots as well as the Stetson capper to this western image that never seems to go away...You can't fence me in..."Ride 'em cowboy"!!! The Lone Stranger rides again!!!
Yesterday was another day when we decided that we would stay out of the kitchen as much as posssible and let the day before yesterday's left-over rotisseried chicken do the talkin' in the form of delicious chicken and bacon sandwiches served with assorted olives and sweet pickles...We did veer off this course long enough to add 8 spears each of perfectly prepared asparagus to the menu...Put that together with another ride down the frappe trail and you have reached out and touched the face of those ghost eaters in the sky...Yippy Ki Yay!!! Thanks my love, you are the bestest!!!
Time to hang a few items on the clothesline now and then mosey on over to the cook-house for some tin-pot coffee...So it is written, so it shall be done!!!
Have a good one all and we'll see ya later if not sooner...
