Sorry to hear about Cliff. Rest and good care, the best cure! Now, that's the 3rd person we've heard that came down with Dengue Fever. Two Doctors we know caught it too.
We had been making the mistake when the city comes down the street with those spraying machines, we closed our doors and windows. Just the opposite of what you need to do. It filter's in pretty nice.
For you Alice - our no. 1 Dengue Fighter - and super cheap. We like to put a little bit of Vicks Vapo Rub in our nostrils at night for easier breathing. Well take some of the residue and put a "smigen" on your forehead, tip of nose, on end of ear lobes, on back of neck, both ends of shoulders and above the knees and on feet. That and put a fan in your room to keep the wind circulating all night. Can be at a 90 degree angle of you, but just keep the wind circulating.
What does this do? Well the mosquitos we found out by accident last year - hate the smell of Vicks Vapo Rub ( and it's a whole lot cheaper than Mosquito Repellant), and they don't like circulating air to contend with when planning on landing.

1. THERE'S A NEW BURGER KING IN TOWN, THERE'S A NEW BURGER KING IN TOWN! When he's up and about and taking his long walks. Well on the South side of the Municipal Plaza at the corner of Clle. Veracruz is a new Burger King just opened up under the arches.
2. We had a nice visit the other day with Charley
y Rosa Young. They own the "The White House Restaurant", out on the Carretera on the way to Santa Cruz in Aquacate. It's on the left before you go up the hill to the right. Nice covered patio arrangements amongst the tall trees and beautiful garden setting. It's like your out in the country (you are in Aquacate) and out in the country there too! Good food, great people, and being a Gringo Charley speaks English and visits everyone's table. They have a Breakfast Buffet starting at 9:00 AM on Sundays. You'll enjoy Rosa - one heck of a fine sweet lady and speaks pretty fair English too, as she used to live in San Diego where she meet Charley. Charles an ole Scientist for the Navy, but very down to earth for such a brain.
Now, if that doesn't get ole Cliffardo wanting to get out of his bed and roaring again, I don't know what will?
