Well this is Monday alright...I had a post almost ready and willing to be posted and Megacable decided to pull the plug on me and I lost it all...Pulitzer, adios amigo...Sigh...

Let's see...I have stripped the bed but Alice is still in the bedroom with ChaChi watching the Today Show on the bed pad with the spread pulled up to keep everybody warm...I, on the other hand, am in the infamous Del Valle Computer Room attending a session of the SOTB Boy's Club with Luke...I'm also listening to Kitty Kallen's 'Little Things Mean A Lot' 1954 hit on the jukebox as we speak...Seems like only yesterday that Bob Seeger was singin' our anthem, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keIvA2wSPZc&feature=related
Well, movin' right along, I am washed, dried, spritzed with faux Old Spice, and am half dressed as I get ready to go out and make a difference...Yesterday, when I went out it made a big difference as George came over to Vip's bringing both Alice and I 'Care' packages from the Colorado area...George has been away for quite a few months and was a sight for sore eyes as we missed that southern gentleman whose mile long caddy is kind of a moving land-mark in these parts, pardner...Welcome home George and Tina and many thanks for the supplies (We did reimburse George of course for those who took the 'Care' literally)JaJaHaHa...George had a birthday bash given by his family stateside that I guess rivaled those old 'TV Roasts' where all your old friends show up and tell everyone what you used to get into trouble for...Talk about being censored...Evidently ladies that had known George since he as a laddie were invited...George enjoyed being 'King for the Day' though as it was all in good fun...
Before I forget, Alice and I stayed home as it was a certified day of rest and we decided to make the most of it...Pollo Fiesta supplied the rotisseried chicken and grilled potatoes and spanish rice that I picked up around 1:00pm...Muy delicioso comido to say the least!!!
I guess I'd better get goin' now as I'm running a little late as there are a passle of clothes just waitin' to meet that lucky ole sun and coffee waitin' for me over at Vip's...Never stand up a waitress or leave clothes unhung...Have a great day and I'll talk to ya later if not sooner...
