Hola all you expatriate patriots,
It's that day that defines nothingness and exudes duress when you were once a clock-puncher back at the payroll deduction depot...Do you remember that great day when you got finally off the clock when the boss gave you three pounds of keys and said, "congulations, you have been promoted to assistant manager and you're no longer on the clock big guy"..."You're an exempt employee now and you can now work 60 to 80 hours a week starting when you open up at 6:00am and close at 10:00pm"..."Hey, big guy, how's it feel to finally make it up to being a salaried big shot with a monthly paycheck???" "Well, big guy, I'll see ya tomorrow as I'm off for some golf so hold all my calls"..."Oh, remember when you lock up tonight to set the alarm as you leave big guy"...If there ever was a bigger snow job in Stockton, California or Nome, Alaska, I can't recall it...I divided my first paycheck by the hours worked and I had taken a big paycut but I was important now and had a fully-loaded key holder attached to my belt to prove it...JaJaHaHa Sigh!!!
Well, in as much as I'm exempt now, I have stripped the beds and have a Whirlpool out back waiting for me to ease out the results of my labor and make sure they're ready for a visit from that lucky ole Sol, the dryin' ball...I have also taken advantage of all the modern conveniences at Casa Anderson that make one presentable enough to fearlessly venture out and take on the day...I'm ready if you're willin'...
Yesterday we decided to stay home at least one more day to give Alice another healing hiatus so once again Banderilla's came to the rescue with a comida delivery that was exactly the same as the day before but just a welcome as it was another succulent rotisseried pork and assorted accuterments winner all the way...An '11' on a scale of 1 to 10...Coconut ice cream was the closing act to this culinary operetta...
Have a good one or two as there is no limit on happiness...Se ya later if not sooner...Oh, before I forget, my 49ers won their opener...Will wonders never cease???
Cheerio,
Cliffardo
