Hola all you expatriate patriots,
I have already washed a load that's still sittin' in the Whirlpool just waitin' for the takin'...I am also fully dressed and lookin' mighty good if I do say so myself...At least that's what my "Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall" had to say after much bribery...Listening to the top 100 songs in 1984 on my Jukebox and, so far, feel kind of out of it...Where the heck was I in 1984...A lot of these songs are totally out of my music comfort zone...
Yesterday Alice and I decided to venture on out to the The Forum Shopping Center and see what was happening over Chili's way and we were glad that we did as they have a new menu that we like...They also have new hamburger buns that the management says one can eat without the whole thing falling apart...A strict requirement of mine...Alice and I started our daily culinary feast with some salsa and chips, on the house I might add, and then we had a very tasty potato and bacon chowder followed by an entree of tomato basil pasta dishes topped with grilled chicken and parmesan cheese...Dessert was a mighty tasty sliced baked apple with vanilla ice cream tucked into a cinnamon crisp concoction and was the perfect ending to a very satisfying meal...Italianni's restaurant is almost open at the Forum so things are lookin' up, KNOCK WOOD!!! We were told that this was going to be a stripped down version of a larger market establishment but we're hopin' that they will at least meet our minimum daily requirements...According to their stateside menu there's hope in them thar hills pardner... http://www.italiannis.com/USA/index.php
Little Luke is keeping me company here in the computer room whilst Alice and ChaChi are holed up on 'big bed' watching the NBC Today show as we speak...I do tend to rise and shine a little earlier than the average Yogi bear...
Have fun today as that's another minimum daily requirement for livin' the good life SOTB...As per usual, I will soon be goin' over to Vip's to get some of Juan Valdez's brew and I sure hope that you might be able to stop by and say, "hi", some sunny day...Look for the guy in the white baseball hat...OK??? OK!!!
