Hi Dennis;
I'd suggest right there in San Blas for you to go introduce yourself to the family that owns/runs La Garza Hotel. They have 2-3 German Sherpards at anyone time, usually hanging out behind their front desk in their lobby. Maybe they can give you or sell you a pup next time they have babies? Maybe they know other owners of German Shepards in the area as they are dog lovers and one of the few hotels that permits you to stay there with your well mannered "mascota" dog.
