Hola all you expatriate patriots,
I took my broken VCR down to the local repairman yesterday and by the time I returned to my casa, my relatively new Samsung TV set had bit the dust as well...It's a 29"er that I can't lift all by myself so I had to have the main man come down and pick it up...It's good to have a tech just a block away...When I think how much it used to cost for a big TV here in Tepiclandia BW (before Walmart), I reflect on just how nice it is to have major league competition to keep the prices down now just in case ya might need a new TV...Soriana, in turn, helps keep Walmart's prices down...And around it goes, (life that is) and when it will stop, nowbody knows, thank goodness!!!
It's raining and so there will be a slight delay in the getting the clothes out of the Whirlpool while I play 'wait and see'...Alice just dropped by to say "Hi" and she is now thinking that maybe she can go back to bed if the rain persists...I told her that only mad dogs and englishmen go walking in the rain and so the bed seems appropriate...I have mowed the stubblefields and have also showered so I'm on 'ready alert standby' as we speak...
Yesterday Alice let me go play over at Burger King as she recognized that, after all the electronic failures, I needed 'comfort food' in the worst way...After a double whopper combo, I started feelin' better especially when the double Nestles Crunch frostie arrived as a parting thought...Alice had their chicken offering as she is avoiding red meat these days...One of the first things I'll ask Saint Peter at the gate will be, "where can I get good steak or prime rib"???...I know dogs are allowed or I'd stay put where I am now...
I guess it's that time when I have said enough and need to move along, don't know where, don't know when, but I just know I must before some nutcake asks me, "why"??? It happens...As always, we here at Casa Anderson wish you bluebirds and, most of all, LOVE!!! See ya later if not sooner...
