I have done my chores and have made myself pretty so I can enjoy this holiday...Anybody know where I can get a cherry bomb??? Just kiddin'...A lady finger (a firecracker) will do...Where have all the sparklers gone??? Gone to Mexico everyone...Can even buy them from your car at a stop sign...Alice is wandering around asking me "any messages" to which I usually answer "no messages"...Routine...Don't ya just love it...Means all's well...
Yesterday Alice and I made it back to Chili's for our comida and I had a great caesar salad with grilled chicken whilst Alice had a guiltless chicken platter, her favorite...I'm guiltless if I eat 10 tons of french fries...Alice is the only one who makes me feel guilty at times when she wants me to do something that I should do but might forget to do..."Call your Mother dear, it's her birthday"..."Yes dear"...Little Luke is now our adopted 4-legged son because Alice once said, "If you don't do something about that poor dog crying out in the street, he will surely die today"..."Welcome little Luke"!!!
I guess I'd better get goin' as I have to still hang out a few clothes...Have a Happy 4th and try and have some potato and macaroni salad and hotdogs or hamburgers while picnicing somewhere, even if it's at your own piece of the pie called home...I'll be over at Vip's later if you care...Come enjoy a cuppa Joe with me someday if you're up to it...
