Yesterday was fix the leaking transmission day and, before it was over, I had left 550 pesos behind to get my pony out of hock but, considering it was a transmission place, this was cheap considering what it could have been...Never a dull moment in Tepiclandia...
Hola all you friends of the life as we know it SOTB,
I am up and sitting here in the 'computer room' with little Luke and ChaChi covering my back, with their eyes closed no-less...I have done my early chores and have cleaned myself up to an acceptable level and am about 30 minutes away from my departure over to the happy coffee grounds...Alice is up and about also and I think she is getting ready for her early morning walk-a-bout (actually, I've taken so much time fiddling around, she has already left)...I do my walking after I have finished my coffee and reading my paper...Four laps around the diverting canal is about right...Need to keep the metabolism metabolating...I walk ChaChi and little Luke around 6:00pm for about an hour as Alice won't let me take then out any earlier when it's hot...Claims that they might suffer from heat stroke...Seems I had a few dogs in my childhood days that ran around in 100 degree weather all day in Stockton, Calif...Oh well, if it makes my queen happy, what the heck...I'll take the 'Wimp Kids' out when it's cool...
Yesterday we went over to Chili's again for a delightful culinary repast that started with potato and bacon chowder followed by chicken fajita tacos for Alice and a great Cobb salad for moi and we finished this culinary affair to remember with another baked apple and vanilla ice cream in a cinnamon crisp offering...One of these meals was a freebie by the way which automatically makes that particular one even taste better...In as much as these are all 99 peso offerings (including the shared soup and dessert), it's difficult to figure out who got gratised...As a Scot, I'll make believe that it was me who dined free...
I am listening to Anne Murray sing her 1978 hit 'You Needed Me'...1978!!! I was just a grown-up kid then...Anne has certainly had an illustrious career...Sigh!!! Where has it all gone??? Gone to the backroads of my mind, that's where...
Well, I guess I'd better get the pants, shoes and sock on and make like the ole sheepherder and get the flock out of here...Have a fun filled day today, por favor...See ya later if not sooner...
