I thought about you all last week as Thomas was in Alaska for business. First he was in Anchorage, where they had a "heat wave". It was 75 on his first day there. Then he flew to Barrow...where it was snowing and 25. Then he flew in a small plane that scared him to death to a small village where as he said "The people really CAN see Russia from their homes" He left with a much better understanding of how Indian Health Service facilities can and do help and how well organized they are considering the distances they must travel for basic supplies. He repeated the journey in reverse. He had not wanted to go, as the timing was obviously not great for him, and now he can't wait to go back!
