It is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known...
Viva Mexico!!! Viva Nayarit!!! Viva Tepic!!!
T G I F !!! Yippee!!! Yahoo!!! Hooray!!!!
Hola all you members of The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Retirement in Mexico,
The pictures shown on 5/29 were snaps of where we used to live in Valley Springs, California on the La Contenta Golf Course...Had an acre on a hill with a magnificient view of the cities below with no yard unless you count bark and rock (I had boulders brought in) and trees and bushes and statuary...Thanks to a mother who gave me a lawnmower for my third birthday, I learned to detest yardwork involving anything that resembled lawn or dandelions or weeds of any kind...There were four dams ( http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles20296.jpg ) close by Valley Springs but I still headed up to our cabin in the sky for trout fishing, given a choice...Sunsets in Valley Springs were all like the one in the picture below...Alice really was not as enamored as I was with foothill living but she went along with the Green Acres lifestyle and the 100 mile commute just to please me...I am a country boy at heart...
Meanwhile, back at the oasis, I have stripped the bed, finished my other chores and have also cleaned myself up to an acceptable level (mowed the stubblefields and showered all nooks and crannies) and am now contemplating what is next on the agenda for this fine lookin' day...Of course there's Vip's for coffee and Venecia for comida, that's a given...I'm sure, before the day is over, we will have something exciting happen...Always does, come rain or come shine...
Yesterday we returned to Chili's to pick up a 2x1 breakfast which are far more attractive to us now after they started letting Alice have something that is not on the breakfast menu...My queen is allergic to eggs and it was hard for me to enjoy my eggs, sausage, potatoes and hotcakes knowing that Alice was relegated to something not nearly as fulfilling...Now she can pick anything off of the regular menu and we still get the 2x1 as long as I stick to breakfast...I don't carry guilt well...Hallelujah, I am now guilt free...
Well, they say that time waits for no one so I've taken up enough of your time and should be getting on over for some of Juan Valdez's brew...Hope your day is better than prime-rib and we'll talk to ya later...
Oh, remember the workerbees stateside whose deductions help pave the way...Thanks workerbees!!!
Cheerio,
Cliffardo
