Hi all;
Those Tepicano Expats and Expats surrounding our fair city should be happy to learn that the new Nodo is done. Nodo, being our new underpass construction that has totally disrupted this town for about a year up by the Church of the Cross intersection of Avenida Mexico on the way to Xalisco, near the big IMSS offices.
$100 Million Pesos later and it's done. Go take a drive on it - but beware it splits rather quickly underground and might pop you out where you didn't want to go. Coming from Xalisco on Ave. Mexico there is only (1) lane exit to get onto Ave. Mexico going north to downtown by the Cathedral and Govt. Offices???
It just opened yesterday. Be careful driving north and you take the Ave. Mexico exit it dumps out onto the regular Ave. Mexico with (2) lanes going north (1) south (after you make the 1 lane exit from the underground. No painting of stripes on the street here - so be careful.
Some Tepicanos say the next Nado will be at P. Sanchez and Insurgentes. That "might" be a great improvement in our traffice. Traffic "Ha, Ha". I mean everyone complains here if you're stuck in traffic for 5-10 minutes. Punishment for that complaint is to have to drive in Mexico City - I think!
