All plans came to a screeching halt yesterday. We found out that our house is currently valued at about $30,000 less than it was 2 years ago! We can't afford to sell it for less than what we owe so, it may be that we will have to stay here for awhile until home values come back up - if they ever do. We are both just crushed and trying to figure this mess out.
I am curious about something you mentioned, though. We know about the FM3s but I don't understand your comment about the timing of the FM3s vs duty free moving of household goods.
Anyway-at this time I can't answer your other questions except the last - I speak a little Spanish, but my husband reads, writes and speaks Spanish fluently. I'm making a concentrated effort to learn more everyday.
I want to thank you and Cliff for all your valuable advice and friendly communications. I really enjoy "talking" with you both.
