Hola Cliffardo-Just now read your message regarding car rentals & buses.. No, we are not the least interested in looking around Guadalajara, just Tepic. The reason for all these questions is that Wolf thinks we should take a look around Tepic before we move there (probably an intelligent idea) and I was trying to find the least expensive way to do that. The only reason we considered a rental car is that we want to look around (Tepic area)to see what homes are available for long-term (3-5 years)rental. Personally, I think we should just make the move. Put everything we're going to take with us in storage with a reputable mover; put us & our 2 furlings in the jeep; make the drive; find home to rent; call movers(hopefully all of this would not take more a couple of weeks). I firmly believe in the KISS principle! I think it's time for some serious, life-changing adventure and neither of us wants a "citio de touristas". Please don't think of us a just a couple of gringo "wannabees" that's not the case at all. This is not a decision we made when we woke up one morning and decided "Gee, wouldn't it be fun to move to Mexico". This is something we have both thought long and hard about. Wolf will be 68 on April 8th-we really want to make this move while we're both young enough to enjoy the people, surroundings and the chance to make new friends.
I really appreciate your input and suggestions.
