Hola all you lovers of the good life SOTB,
I have done my domestic chores that are directed towards getting the casa cleaned enough for our housekeeper Arhi who will soon be here to pick up after this pick-up man. I'm the opening act before the star arrives!!! Once upon a time when I was up and at 'em at 4:30 it was because a trout stream was in sight...Floatin' a Royal Coachman fly as dawn shows above the pine trees was a great time to get started 'limiting out'...From the time I was about five and fishing trout streams in Calaveras, El Dorado and Amador counties, I always caught the 'limit'...At a certain point in my life I went 'catch and release' and then I caught many more than the limit but it was strictly legal...My last trip to the Upper Truckee river resulted in catching and releasing over 125 cutthroat and rainbow trout in 5 hours of fishing...I was on a 'Sierra Mountian high' driving back to Valley Springs after that excursion...The picture below was taken at the Upper Truckee river...It heads at over 10,000 feet...Now that I have bored you with a trip up where the wild fish flies afer flies, I'd better get back to the facts at hand...
Yesterday Alice and I took the Mustang out to Chili's once more and again took advantage of the 2x1 breakfast with moi having my usual eggs over, potatoes, sausage and hotcakes and Alice going for her chicken fajita tacos and sausage with potatoes as well...Mmmmmmmm good!!! We actually crawled the mall one more time after breakfast without so much as one purchase which is hard to do...I guess we are still getting over those recent shopping sortees in Puerto Vallarta...
I guess I should keep a move on as I have an appointment over at Vip's with Mr. Coffee (remember Joe DiMaggio and those Mr. Coffee ads???)and I don't want to keep him waiting...Come join me someday if you can...Have a great day today...
Adios and cheerio,
Cliffardo
