Hola all you expatriate patriots,
Alice and I went crusin' (pic below) a few times and pretty much took care of most of the caribbean islands from the bleak peaks at Aruba to the drug dealin' at Cartagena in Columbia to English speaking Antigua to British Barbados to French Martinique and to then to the US of A's St. Thomas and those other 'Virgin islands'...Throw in Nassau and the Bahamas and St Kitts and Nevis and the Panama Canal and you get the drift...I managed to get a romantic table for two on the Royal Princess as I really am not one for that table of 8 setup that was the rule way back then when...Not at all romantic!!! I run out of things to say to strangers right after the "how are you" and "I'm fine"!!!
I am up and have done my part and the proof is in the air on a clothesline as we speak...Just call me washerman Willie...At least that sounds better than that 'clabber girl'... http://www.clabbergirl.com/images/products/product_shot_small.jpg ...
Yesterday Alice and I returned to Chili's and partook of their new promotion of a 'Cobb' salad with a freebie of a bowl of chowder or an ice cream dessert...Would have been great except this was not a 'Cobb' salad as there was no Roquefort or Blue cheese in it and a 'Cobb' has to have that or else it's not a 'Cobb'... http://whatscookingamerica.net/Salad/CobbSalad.jpg
Other than that slight stumble, we had excellent service and a great potato chowder and cinnamon delight ice cream dessert with chocolate syrup as well...I am disappointed though as I really am a traditional Cobb salad lover...Such is life!!!
Onward and upward!!! I guess that the time has come to dust off the pony and get on over to Vip's for a little of the good morning stuff...Talk to ya later but, in the meantime, have a great day!!!
Cheerio,
Cliffardo
