Hola all you lovers of the good life SOTB,
Casa Anderson is whole once again as the better half has returned from her decorating assignment in Bucerias...My Queen started decorating for Gump's in San Francisco back in the sixties and became the best decorator in northern California and that's the god's truth...Alice was sought after by everyone as having your home decorated by this lady meant your home would soon rival those places seen regularly in Architectural Digest...Alice's drapery accomplishments were considered works of art and second to none...Our little decorating business was the talk of the town, county and state and took us from city halls to churches to new housing developments to palaces and to the cottage that grandmother lived in...Combine that with every wallpaper pattern known to man and the eye for color of a hawk and the talent of a symphonic maestro, this has been the life and times of my lady from Sacramento from then to now...Prejudiced??? You betcha!!! I'm just sorry that it took me until 1973 to catch this train but, hey, I have had 35 years of these fun and games and we're just getting started...
Things are back to normal and so are the chores that come with everyday life so I'm up and doing my Monday stuff helping get the casa ready for the housekeeper, who else??? Yesterday, after Alice's triumphant return from Bucerias, we went over to El Quinche's place of business and had their house speciality for two which is a selection of delectable BBQ'd meats, Argentinian style, accompanied by a starter of empanadas and bruchetta and fresh french bread dipped in olive oil and then add grilled potatoes and a fresh salad to the main attraction and you have a muy, muy delicioso culinary affair to remember!!! That's the way to celebrate a homecoming, a big bon-fire, but under succulent meats instead of a pampas campus...
Well, enough said, now back to making myself presentable enough to get a cuppa joe at Vip's...If I'm a good boy, we might even wind up at a hamburger haven today...Who knows what surprises lurk under the dark storm clouds that are droppin' rain right now as we speak??? A rainbow of course!!! Even when it rains in Tepiclandia, it's raining violets!!!
Oh, before I forget, ChaChi and little Luke are no longer lookin' at me as if I had something to do with Alice's disappearance...Have you ever seen a dog smilin'??? Well I have??? Soon as mama walked through the door!!!
Adios and cheerio,
Cliffardo
