Hola all you expatriate patriots,
I am up and ready for whatever this day will bring...I have stripped the ole bed of yesterday's linen and have a load in the Whirlpool a whirlin'...I have also gone through the $1.99 exterior body wash (no hot-wax please) and have mowed the stubblefields with the help of Mr. Schick...Between Mr. Gillette and Mr. Schick, I remain one slick smoothie...
Hey, if all goes according to schedule (a big 'if' SOTB), I will have my pony back today from the paint pot...I wonder if I will recognize my ole pal...I'll probably be parkin' my amigo/amiga way out in the unsold bleachers until I start getting my first abrasions and then I will eventually get it back where the huddled masses park...
Yesterday Alice and I walked over to Casa Gallo one more time and repeated an earlier culinary performance with moi having a late (after 12:00pm) breakfast of eggs, bacon, refried beans, buttered rolls, hotcakes, assorted sweets and coffee whilst Alicia had another of those wonderfully tasty chicken caesar ensaladas...Different strokes for different folks...Whatever floats your boat...When I'm in doubt, I go with a breakfast menu as you usually can't go wrong that-a-way...I do love breakfast...In my traveling salesman days, if you showed me an old fashioned truck stop where they cooked breakfast 24/7 (and had 20 or more trucks parked outside), I'd a shown ya a happy camper named Cliffardo...A real nice egg...
I guess I should keep trying to get out the door so I'd better start hangin' out the sheets so that they will be flappin' in the breeze by the time the sun comes out this fine lookin' morning...Then I shall offer myself to the coffee gods and also get in a little gazette readin' over at Vip's I guess...There are no Ollie's Diners here with a large-crested Mabel to pull my chain so Vip's is the next best thing within' my early morning walkin' range...Have some fun in the sun today folks...
