The Righteous Brothers nailed it but John Gary is one of my very favorite male vocalists...
Hola all ye lovers of the good life SOTB.
Another day before Friday is upon us and that's a good thing as Friday was and still is the day we look forward to as that means that this workweek is winding down and and approaching history status...Thursday is the opening act as we cruise towards the get-a-way days that follow...That's what we work for, right???...Right!!! We work so we have the resourses, strength and stamina to get away from work...My Mustang's makeover should be completed tomorrow and that's a good thing as well...One can get around sans a vehicle but not as far as one wants when a weekend presents itself...My poor old pony has had a lot of touchups along the way but hasn't had a complete paint job in the 15 years of fun in the sun that we've had together...To say, "it's about time", is an understatement to say the least...I found my 94 pony in a 1993 showroom and it was love at first sight...Alice and I had that same kind of enchanted evening but that was way back in 1973...We've had lots of touchups along the way but we're still tickin'(knock wood)...As I recall I asked Alice for her lovely hand and the rest of her lovely being on or about our second date...One minute a stranger and the next thing ya know, we're sharin' a manger...I know that a manger is a trough or an open box in which feed for livestock is placed but, hey, it rhymes...Actually our manger was an apartment on Stratford Circle in Stockton, California...Next month Alice and I will have been married for 35 years so love at first sight is alive and well...It wasn't across a crowded room where we met but a crowded first class department store called Weinstock's...

Yesterday my bride of 35 years and I went over to Olaa and had some of their shrimp, both au natural and empanazado style, and they were downright delicioso...Fun place to sit and feast...
I am running a little late but I guess Vip's will still be there and it's still raining outside so I'm not gonna worry about it as worry and retirement don't go well together...We retire to get away from such things...I hope that you all have a great day...
Adios and cheerio,
Cliffardo
