license tags

Every trip to Mexico I seem to see plenty pf cars with expired tags from a variety of (US) states. I've asked a couple of folks and been told it is 'no problema' so that's one reason I was wondering about your situation. With 9-yr-old tags, you might be close to a record of sorts! (Reminds me of the days I used to be poor and destitue, buying tags via mail-order form the crooked Probate Judge in Alabama...name and county withheld to protect the guilty.)
