I'm back in the saddle again
Out where a friend is a friend
Where the longhorn cattle feed
On the lowly gypsum weed
Back in the saddle again
Ridin' the range once more
Totin' my old .44
Where you sleep out every night
And the only law is right
Back in the saddle again
Whoopi-ty-aye-oh
Rockin' to and fro
Back in the saddle again
Whoopi-ty-aye-yay
I go my way
Back in the saddle again...

Hola all you Saturday Matinee Buckaroos,
Time to saddle up and head for the Fox California for another thrilling morning spent with your Riders of the Purple Sage..."Go get 'em Wild Bill"...First things first though, "I'll take a bag of popcorn, hot buttered please, and a box of Milk Duds and a little box of ice cream Bon-Bons"...That should last me through the Donald Duck cartoon and the Phantom serial..."I'll be back for some Good and Plentys before the posse and the cavalry come"...Whoopi-ty-aye-yay!!!
I've done the chores here at the Anderson Ranchita and am about to head for the south forty and a little campfire coffee, don't I wish...It looks to be a great day today and I'm lookin' and smellin' pretty good, if I do say so myself, and Alice has cleared me for departure...
Yesterday Alice and I went over to the LaLoma Hotel early on for breakfast and I had a great time filling up on hotcakes and bacon and toast and stuff...Alice went healthy and had a fruit plate, toast and a little bacon...We went early as Alice was going out for comida with Gail and Sylvia around 2-bells and needed to digest a little before going over to El Quinche for some of their fabulous offerings...I believe Alice had some chicken medallions at this Argentinian based eatery whilst the other two took my route, beef and more beef...I ate all alone and was forced to watch Red River (one of the best westerns ever) one more time...Alice and I and the furballs did manage to hook up for a dessert of hot-fudge sundaes later, the furballs having their chicken medallion dessert under the table...No chocolate for the furballs as that is their curse and they just have to live with it to avoid the alternative...I can't imagine not being able to have chocolate!!!
Sanborn's and Sears opened their new stores at the Forum Shopping Center yesterday for the first time and we went out there about 11:00am to take advantage of some of their opening sales (some 50%) and to look around of course...We made three purchases at Sanborn's and will certainly be doing the same at Sears from time to time...Both stores are winners...A boon to Tepic and we the people...
Hope you buckaroos have a great day today and maybe I'll see ya at the coffee campfire some early morning???
Cheerio,
Cliffardo
