Thank you for the great tips on restaurants, buses, hotels, parks and taxis. Our trip was GREAT and solidified the need to be SOTB. The time we spent at Vip's was enjoyable and informational. Thank you for the Mail, Messages & More link. We have saved it for reference as our move date gets closer.
It is amazing how friendly everyone we met was.
A business woman was walking by the park, we asked her for directions and the next thing we know she is walking in the opposite direction to help us! We stopped her however, but were amazed at her kindness.
We ran into Roger at Soriana's and had a nice conversation with him.
A local family befriended us. They had us to their home for a meal. They also told us of a restaurant, Mama Rosa's (right by Chero's) for a great Mexican buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We can confirm how tasty the food was. Muy Rico! Chero's was also Muy Rico!! thx Alice. We watched our first Mexican Futbol game there! Not sure of the rules but it seems the good guys won.
We left our heart in Tepic and will be back in August or September for another visit. Thanks again for your help, Bob and Jan
