Hi guys!! Haven't been on here since BEFORE I moved to Tepic. What a loser, I know! Finally getting settled in and will bookmark this page so I can check it more and chat with my fellow gringo neighbors!! So, I have decided that I want to open an animal shelter here. Of course this is going to take A LOT of time. I know a vet who is part of the animal rights group here. I'm going to start going to their meetings and keeping my eyes and ears open. I know there's a pound here. I heard they take sick dogs and put them down. Does anyone know if that's all they do? Any spay/neuter programs? Education programs? Adopting?
Thanks for any information or anything you know!! I'm learning that not one vet here agrees with another and some of them have the craziest beliefs... Wow, animals really don't have a chance, do they?
