In the misty moonlight
By the flickering firelight
Any place is alright
Long as I'm with you
In a faraway land
On the tropic sea sand
If your hand's in my hand
I won't be blue
Way up on the mountain
Or way down in the valley
I know I'll be happy
Anyplace, anywhere, I don't care
In the misty moonlight
By the flickering firelight
Any place is alright
Long as you are there
I could be happy in one little room
with only a table and chair
As happy as I'd be in a kingdom by the sea,
darling, if you were there
And I could be rich or I could be poor..
but if you were by my side
I could be any place in this whole wide world
and I know I'd be satisfied
Way up on the mountain
Or way down in the valley
I know I'll be happy
Anyplace, anywhere, I don't care
In the misty moonlight
By the flickering firelight
Any place is alright
Long as you are there...
Hola all you expatriate patriots,
I hope everthing is alright everywhere this fine morning...Ya gotta have hope!!! The frost is finally off the pumpkin hereabouts so it's much more fun getting out in the misty morning moonlight than it was when we had the arctic winds a blowin...Actually the cold front probably wasn't coming from that far away but it was mighty cold for Mexico, especially Nayarit and especially when hangin' out the clothes around 5:00AM...Alice beat me to this again (the hangin') but I'm not complaining as sharin' is carin' and we both carry the load around this casa...
Yesterday my landlord was on my roof before 8 bells to fix our water problem and this time he brought a helper...I was over doing my early morning stuff at Vip's and Walmart so I missed his arrival and they left without saying goodby so I really don't know what was accomplished but we shall see when the water-tank up above is getting low...Will the pump kick in or not, that is the question...Again, more of that eternal hope wishful thinkin' comes into play...
Alice and I went over to Burger King yesterday and we both were on the same track this time as Alice had a grande whopper combo with me, complete with a large cardboard container of fries, instead of one of her recent chicken caesar ensaladas...I like it when we are birds of a feather...We ended this culinary affair with BK's tasty vanilla frosties...This did not interfere with the Casa Anderson traditional daily dessert that includes the furballs and was held on schedule with great success...Just ask ChaChi and little Luke...
Well, now it's off to Vip's to see if I can make their day or at least a difference...Their friendly service gets me goin' with a smile on my face and that's what it's all about...
Cheerio and adios,
Cliffardo
