Wow! What alot of great info. Wherever we decide to move, it will be year round. That's why such concern regarding temps and humidity. We lived in Montserrat West Indies (before the volcano) for a couple of years and in Sept and Oct it was really hot and humid there, too. But, you know, we made it through. You just do what you have to.
About renting, 12 months is fine with us. Can you tell me how to go about finding a 2 or 3 BR house. I'm guessing that the dogs will be a real problem. I'm worried that we will have to buy instead of rent first because of the dogs and then we will not have a chance to check out neighborhoods and towns.
But we read several different Mexican sites and think that we would really like Tepic or the outlying areas.
