Hundred Mile Days
I think of you with every mile
I drive along my day

Hola all ye lovers of the good life SOTB,
According to my little 'Christmas Watch' post, the days are dwindling down to a precious few before Santa comes with my Lionel train and that 'Red Ryder' Daisy lever action 1000 shot BB gun that I so richly deserve as I have been a good boy, really I have...I have just finished hanging our daily wash up outside with Alice and have done some micro-cleaning as good as it gets, me and the furballs service stations that is...Yesterday I walked downtown two times as Alice and I had a few loose ends to take care of and these are now tied up in grand fashion so I'll probably wait until after the 'big day' comes before I mingle with the masses again!!! Today I will walk over to pay the phone bill and the casa alarm bill, anything to keep the midriff stable at this festive and feastive time of the year as I now have considerable investment in five pairs of recently purchased size 34/32 pants and I have to keep lightening the load any way I can...Our neighbor friend Gail gave us six slices of various types of delicious cheesecake yesterday and that is one way to blow the waistline but I figure that if I keep moving the calories will leave eventually like uninvited houseguests...Gail has now brought us cheddar cheese, white vanilla cake, chocolate fudge brownies and three types of cheesecake and other assorted goodies...Talk about being neighborly!!! Keep bakin' Gail as the propane will get stale if you don't!!!
Yesterday was 'Burger King' day of course and Alice and I did ourselves proud by downing two grande whoppers combos including grande fries and then along came those vanilla frosties to tie up those loose ends, culinarily speaking...Mmmmmmmmmmm good!!! As usual, Alice was patient as I devoured this Martian soul food...Thanks dear for humoring me...I know that this is not your favorite cuisine but we do seem to tango well don't we??? Forever was the promise and forever it shall be!!!
I guess I should start getting ready for this morning's coffee klatch at Vip's...I hope that you can see yourself clear to make my day by coming my way today, OK??? See ya??? Hope so!!!
