Hola Cuyler.
Sounds like my kind of place to eat. That is one thing about other countries, they are so different from our stiff way of life in the states. In 1958, we were going to Acapulco, up the mountain just south of Mx city. Before the toll-roads, I came up on a town that was celebrating the summer harvest. All down the side of the road there was little stalls selling food. I have never seen so many different kinds and color of corn and beans. Red,white, yellow, brown and you name it, prepared in so many different ways. Another time when I lived in Tepic I drove a young couple who were moving to a town on the side of Guad. When we got there the young man asked if we wanted to eat before we headed back to Tepic. We drove up town and I saw a man selling food from a bicyle stand. He looked very clean, all in white. I want to eat there I told my friend, he couldn't believe it. I parked the car and ordered and had to sit on the curb to eat!! The local people walking by just stared at the gringos from Calif doing that.
8 more days and I get on the bus. See you on the 6th at Vips at 8 o'clock.
