Hola all you expatriot patriots,
Another week is upon us as we slide down Holiday Hill towards the night before Christmas...My how time flies when you're havin' fun...I have my part of the day's ropa and bed linen a flappin' in the breeze and the Whirlpool filled with water so that Alice can follow suit when it suits her...We kinda took it easy yesterday as I was the only one who went out of the casa on my daily hunter-gatherer trek to find suitable makings for the day's comida...I also was over at Vip's earlier for some coffee and to talk with George about his Hokies and how they probably will be in the big game that decides who is numero uno in college football!!! The only thing sportswise that I have to crow about is that all of California's NFL teams won yesterday which I don't think happened before this year...I'm still trying to get Joe Montana to come back next year and maybe Steve Young as his backup!!! Ah...the good ole days!!! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I am up and feelin' fiesty and ready to take on the day...I always feel this way on 'Burger King Day'...
Yesterday Alice converted my hunter-gatherer treasures into a delicious stir-fry wok kind of thing that was as tasty as it gets...Everytime the wok comes out, I immediately think how it looks like my grandfather's gold pan with a handle...Figures when you think about the culinary gold that comes forth...Alice is the 'Wonder Woman' of the kitchen...I am the designated sidekick that we all learned to love so well in those ole westerns we lined up for...Just call me Gabby or Fuzzy...
I hope that I will see someone over at Vip's this morning who might want to share some of their weekend fish tales or golf stories or college football highs over a cuppa Juan Valdez's black gold...
