Hola all you expatriate patriots,
Well, well, another 'Hump Day' and, as of 12:00pm today, all you workaholics should be able to see the light at the end of the workweek tunnel...It's all downhill from here folks...I have been up since 'Third Watch' ended on the tele at 4:30am this morning and have already mowed the stubblefields with Mr. Schick and have done my dash through the Water-Pic body wash, no hot-wax please!!! A little faux Old Spice and I'm rarin' to go!!! Alice sent me out to get some incense sticks yesterday which took some doin' as these places tend to come and go here in Tepiclandia...I found some at a store located outside the Soriana location...We now smell like 'Sandlewood' (not dutch sneakers) here...No, we are not into yoga or Guru or Tibetian monk enlightenment, we just want Casa Anderson to be like a potpourri shoppe, sweet smellin' and all...I also walked over to Megacable yesterday to insure that we maintained our digital connections for computer and television services...Sometimes there is an added bonus to walkin' around and that is when you run into someone who is admired amongst the SOTB retiree circle of adventurers, wayfarers and wanderers and that is/was Ernest Lewis, the past editor and chief of the 'Adventures in Mexico' newsletter or AIM for short...AIM has been a good source for information since it's inception in 1972...We had a grand old conversation before I continued on in my quest for those sweet-smellin' sticks...I'll put the link to AIM below!!! Thanks Ernest for all the help through these exciting years livin' the good life here in Tamaleland...

Alice made the decision yesterday that we would stay home for our comida and I was designated as the driver to go to the local rotisseried chicken joint (Delichicken) and bring back the bacon, er, I mean chicken and frijoles and papas...I can't tear off my shirt in a phone booth anynore when I become 'Hunter-Gatherer Man' but I make do with my button-down Mahattan dress shirt over-runs I bought years ago at Marshalls...There just ain't any good 'all inclusive' phone booths around anymore...Anywho, the chicken was terrific and so was the almond and assorted nuts ice cream that ended this culinary feast...Mmmmm good!!!
I will soon be over at Vip's for my morning coffee and newspaper read and would love the pleasure of your company if you are in the area...Come one!!! Come all!!!
Cheerio for now,
Cliffardo
PS: The Cathedral in today's picture is here in Tepic!!!
