Posted by Bill i'm dealing with 2 vehicles. i need to nationalize one so i can keep both in the country. the pickup i would like to nationalize in the name of my friend who is a mexican national and will be returning to mexico with me. i was hoping to come to tepic and nationalize the pickup there. but i think a mexican national has to be at the boarder to have the vehicle nationalized. i have made contact with a customs broker (gamas,intl.) in nogales, sonora who will do the title work for the pickup and an 18 ft. cargo trailer. it would just work out better if i could come to tepic, rent a home, nationalize the pickup and then return to nogales, az. back on the boarder i would then bring another auto across the boarder, permit it on my fm3, load it in the 18ft cargo trailer and off to tepic. i don't want to drive the car i'm bring into mexico on mexican roads because it small, low to the ground auto. if you or anyone on this board hears or has any info on nationalizing pickup in tepic, i would appreciate hearing. thanks, bill

mike, i wanted to thank for all your leads to mx. gov. sites for info on vehicle permits.
