I honestly have nothing to offer by way of personal experience in a middle of the road priced hotel by the plaza as the only one I'm familiar with is the Fray Junipero Serra, a little higher up the ladder but very nice!!! Link below!!! http://www.frayjunipero.com.mx/english.html I would suggest the LaLoma Hotel by the park as a very nice place to stay within' walking distance of the plaza if you like to walk!!! It is almost a hike!!! The park is very special though!!!
