Posted by Cliff on 10/4/2007, 6:53 am Had a fuss with my woman, an' I toil for my kids, This is the Johnnie Cash version but Frankie Laine had the biggest hit of them all in 1951!!! I know as I bought the 45 to help it to the top of the charts!!! I had quite a stack of 45's in those olden days of yesteryear... Hola all you lucky enough to out playing around in the lucky old sun SOTB, I am up and about to take on IMSS later today as it's that time of the year once again...It is time consuming but otherwise harmless if you call droppin' about 6000 pesos harmless (knock wood)...Considering the alternative, it's a good deal...Been doin' it (renewal) for over 8 years now!!! I have started the wash and am about to get it out of the Whirlpool and onto the line unless Alice beats me to it (she did)...We hang clothes differently but that's another story that won't sell...I have cleaned myself up once again and am about to stride forth and take on the day as Dr. Laura would say!!! Remember Dr. Laura??? Better lookin' in her younger day than Dr. Phil, the jolly money green giant...Oh, by the way, today's picture was taken at San Blas, our neighboring beachside community... Alice and I went over to Las Palomas yesterday for comida and had our usual 'make your own' soup and chef salad with a couple of buttered dinner rolls on the side and starting off with a small serving of salsa and chips...Nice ambience and good food!!! We shall return!!! George came over and joined in the early mornin' fun at Vip's yesterday and I hope that you will find it possible to join in today as that's always a great way to start the day...Nothin' like a spoonful of comradery to made the coffee go down smoother...OK??? OK!!! Cheerio, Cliffardo

Up in the mornin', out on the job
Work like the devil for my pay.
But that lucky old sun has nothin' to do
But roll around heaven all day.
An' I sweat 'til I'm wrinkled and gray,
While that lucky old sun got nothin' to do
But roll around heaven all day.
Oh, Lord above, don't you hear me cryin'
Tears are rollin' down my eyes.
Send in a cloud with a silver linin',
Take me to paradise.
Show me that river, Take me across,
wash all my troubles away
Like that lucky old sun give me nothing to do
But roll around heaven all day.
