Cliff, your post on the girls shopping for furniture reminded me, when we retired in Ajijic in 1986. We bought some tropical furniture and the saleslady said they would deliver on Mon. We leased a house out in the country by the lake. Come monday we waited all day in an empty house, looking at the scorpions and lizards on the wall. I go on tuesday to see what happen. She tells me they will delivery on wednesday. This gave me a chance to get friendly with the scorpions on wed. Again no delivery!!! On thursday my latin temper is above 100. I tell the lady to give me my money back since I didn't get my furniture and I didn't want any more lies. DON'T ever accuse them of lying, I thought the store was going to blow up. Why give me a day for delivery and it isn't done. Well she says, we don't know when the man is coming with the truck. He just stops by every so often to see if we have a delivery!!!
