Posted by Cliff on 8/16/2007, 6:36 am Alice is leaving me today as she galavants off to have some fun in the sun with one of her dear friends from Stockton, California!!! I have been left behind and, with Mayra's daughter included in this mixer, that makes it three wild women on the loose and I am not about to join this party as the odds are against my fellow manhood!!! Go into a tigress den without a whip or gun??? No thanks!!! I'll just stay at home and overdose on hotdogs!!! Yesterday, the big three, Alice and Gail and Martha, went over to a rustica furniture place and bought a whole two story houseload of this pretty stuff with and for Gail, the new householder...To get fortified for this event, the big two, Alice (the decorator) and Gail went over to Casa Gallo for breakfast yesterday morning and made plans for the muebles invasion...Martha joined in later as she is an excellent translator which was needed to enable the saleslady to be able to write up this huge order...This furniture excursion ended about 7:00pm!!! Having been in the furniture business, I hope that this saleslady was rewarded for this big sale...I know how good it felt to do a whole home, pocketwise and otherwise!!! When Alice arrived back from the muebles mauling, we had a snack of a bean salad with salami on the side and hotdogs...The furballs were treated to their usual, boneless, skinless chicken breast served cooked and under the table!!!
