Time to line up at the ole Fox California and load up on buttered popcorn and plenty of Milk-Duds and Good and Plentys...That'll take the best part of your 25 centavos seņor...Hope they have a Donald Duck cartoon!!! Bet ya didn't know that Big John was a singin' cowpoke back when he was still wet behind the ears (Picture below)...Even Vaughn Monroe, the singer with the baritone voice that sounded like it was comin' from a cave, made a couple of sing-a-long western movies to take advantage of the popularity of the Saturday Matinee and the kids like you and me that made it all happen!!! Today at Casa Anderson is starting out like any other day except I already have a James Garner Western under my belt and I intend to have a Stetson hat-trick under my saddle before this day is over...I have started a wash and soon I shall finish it by 'hanging 'em high', as Clint would say!!! I also have to be at Estafeta (small scale UPS equivalent) by 7:00am this morning as we have another care package from Stockton, sent by our dear friend Mayra, to pick up and it's addressed to me instead of Alice so I don't know what that's all about...I'll be there by 7:00am as that way I still should get to Vip's between 7:30 and 8:00am to have my everlovin' coffee...Please join me if you can!!! Yesterday Alice and I went over to the Manger for comida and found out that they were closed...Friday and closed??? Wonder what that is all about!!! I hope for the sake of my BBQed ribs that they are not goin' out of business...Best ribs in town!!! We shall see!!! Anyway, we then proceeded over to the LaLoma Hotel for our comida where Alice had her usual Taco's de pollo whilst I switched to the breakfast mode and had hotcakes and bacon, lots of bacon...Sometimes a guy's got to do what a guy's got to do...We started everything off with salsa and chips and intended to have guacamole as well but they were out of avacados I guess as there was no guacamole to be found anywhere at this foodering hole...Strange but true!!! As I stated above, I will be over at Vip's for morning coffee at my regular time so join me if you can, por favor!!! Adios and cheerio, Cliffardo
