Posted by Cliff on 5/12/2007, 7:00 am Alice and I returned yesterday after spending 5 weekdays in Puerto Vallarta doing nothin' but eating ourselves into oblivion and shoppin' while walkin' along the beachy keen Malecon between restaurants...I will let Alice fill you in on the various places where we tossed our culinary hats as I'm not the best when it comes to names or what a specific entree was called, however, not wanting to keep you totally in the dark, I'll try and name a few now just for you...Archie's Wok and Spiaggia and Daquiri Dick's and Boca Bento and Kit Kat and Pipi's and Cafe de Olla and the Vitea Oceanfront Bristro and Picnic (great hamburgers and potato salad) and Piazzetta and La Palapa (for a drink and dessert) and Dee's (for the best coffee each day and great lemon squares and homemade lemon meringue pie when in the mood) and Pie in the Sky (for Key Lime pie) and Fredy's Tucan (for a great breakfast, traditional style) and so it goes, day after day, fork after fork, spoon by spoon with even ole MacDonald's getting into the scene for a 5 peso vanilla frostie...I can't walk by a frostie machine without having at least a single...Good to be back home though as I have to let my arteries unclog and pet my furballs...We miss ChaChi and Luke a whole lot when we are way out and about...Wish there was a way we could include them in the mix but they probably are better off here at Casa Anderson with Lupita and her sister lookin' after them!!! Need I say that Alice managed to buy shoes and purses once again on this trip...If I live to be a 100, I will never know how so many women's shoes can go on so few feet...Amazing... I hope to see ya later over at Vip's for coffee and then I can clue you in on what really transpired such as running out of water at our hotel, almost getting electrocuted and all the other events that makes traveling in this wonderland exciting...Viva Mexico!!! Adios and cheerio for now, Cliffardo
