Car Rental

Next week I'll be in San Blas for about 4 days and would like to know if I can rent a car in Tepic for 2-3 days (I prefer NOT to rent for a week from PV) thanks jim in stockton CA (my 23 y/o son has been living in San Blas for several months - he sells ice cream on the beach!)
