Posted by Cliff on 2/21/2007, 6:27 am Just one sunny day after another to go out and play in my paradise...Today should be 'Hump Day' for those Tillie and Tad Toilers still punchin' in and out at the old time clock...At around 12:00pm you should be able to see the light at the end of the workweek tunnel and it's all downhill from there...A little golf today, a few reports to dictate tomorrow and an office birthday party for Ruby Tuesday on Friday and then you can leave Mallard's Ristorante after the last gift is given and piece of cake consumned and leave for a weekend of fun and games...Don't go back to the office...Ruby will be heading straight away to Macy's to exchange her gifts...I know because that is where I went after my office birthday luncheon and the Christmas party to exchange my Perry Ellis cologne and gel and shampoo and body scrub 'gift sets' I received for a big jug of the good stuff, straight Perry Ellis and maybe a bottle of Eternity for men if there was enough dinero involved...No body elixirs for me...Straight Lava soap did the trick for this farm boy!!!...Farmers get used to Lava Soap...We used Lava faithfully to scrape off the dust, grime, dirt, smudge pot oil and fertilizer powder after a hard day's work...That's my skin peeler, L-A-V-A...A real man's version...I was peelin' skin with Lava long before people started makin' apricot scrubs that eventually wound up in those darned 'gift sets'...You want pink, just use Lava for 20 minutes and you'll stay pink all day...Anywho, all ye who are still working yourself stiff, rejoice as the end is near... Yesterday, after my morning pilgrimage over to Vip's and some provision shopping at Walmart and Ley's, Alice and I went back to Barandales at Villa Las Rosas and had a super comida of tacos dorado con pollo and fajitas de res...Salsa and chips helped us bide some time before the main attraction came... I hope you will find your way over to Vip's this morning as I could use a little company...Need to practice my english...Ja Ja Ja Ja Ja (or Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha in our native tongue)... Adios and cheerio, Cliffardo
