Cliff, I just returned to Texas after a wonderful week in Tepic! I thought of you often, hoping to make it to Vips one morning; however, our group meeting was each morning at 7 a.m., so I just could not make it over. Our group had a great week with the students at the university, helping them with their English, while we learned much about life in Tepic. Our hotel, Villa Las Rosas, was a great place to hang our hats! The food at the restaurant was always great! The family of one of our students at the university owns Cafe Luna and we enjoyed their fare of coffees and sandwiches. There was a taco stand, just down from the hotel, that we frequented often in the evening. Can't remember the name, but it was always full of folks! Across from the hotel was beautiful La Lloma Park. I enjoyed a couple brief, after lunch walks there, while meeting with some school girls that wanted to talk to us Americans. They were delightful!Again, sorry we could not connect while we were there, but I will look forward to returning, possibly sometime later in the year. Blessings! Scott
