January brought us a new casa and a new lease on life and a new lease on our pretty cottage-style abode...This last week was a sit back and enjoy our accomplishments as moving is like a major skirmish and we are the victors and it time to enjoy the spoils...Now I guess I shall have to get on with the daily mundanity of doing such things as getting a new driver's license and getting our address changed at Immigrations...I am a professional procrastinator so we shall see how long it takes to get these ducks lined up!!! One of the hardest things for me initially was the 'maņana' is another day mentality but now I can truthfully say that I enjoy this trait that I have now embraced...We'll get to it when we get to it amd that's a promise...When??? Why maņana of course...The only things that we need today are food and bottled water for the furballs (we go out to eat often) and toilet paper and soap (cleanliness is next to friendliness), if you want any, friends that is!!! Yesterday we made a belated trip to Burger King so that I might have my Whopper Combo fix which includes a big vanilla frostie as a culinary caper capper...Alice is a teaser and appeaser extroidinaire...She knows that the way to a man's heart is through a big Whopper (heavy on the mustard) and a big bag of salted french fries...She sacrifices a culinary weekday for my happiness and for that I am eternally grateful... After doing a little banking this morning, I will trip on over to Vip's for coffee and certainly would like to see you as it's been awhile!!! Adios and cheerio, Cliffardo
