Re: July 19th in Potterville - Elite State & Women's Grand Slam
I am assuming the previous poster meant that more people play NSA than ASA or any other association, especially in Michigan. They do this because it doesnt take as good of a hitter IMO. The bats are hotter and NSA does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to combat shaved and illegal bats. Bats are NOT tested before tournaments (like ASA) and they arent even checked by umpires and directors. NSA does NOTHING to combat cheaters that used shaved and illegal bats. NSA doesn't even do roster checks with ID. At least not at the State, NIT and grand slams I have played over the years, including this year. I mean no disrespect Bill as you have been a great Director and always very helpful, but NSA as a whole needs to implement BAT testing and BAT checks along with roster check to KEEP THE INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. But people will keep paying and playing so Im sure this will go in 1 ear and out the other.
