2013 NSA “ELITE” World Series and "GOLD" Eligible teams for "ELITE" World Series • A NSA class “GOLD” team may participate in the NSA class “ELITE” World Series only if they qualify. A class “GOLD” team electing to participate in the NSA class “ELITE” World Series will be required to use their current roster. NO additional players will be added for the purpose of participating in the “ELITE” World Series. To qualify, a class “GOLD” team must meet 2 of the below requirements: o Team must participate in a NSA "ELITE/GOLD WS qualifier o Team must participate in NSA Director's Cup o Team must participate in NSA class “SUPER” World Series o Team must participate in their respective class “ELITE” State Championship State Championship • A class “GOLD” team MUST play in their respective class State Tournament to validate all other post season berths o If a class “GOLD” team elects to participate in the NSA class “ELITE” World Series they must also participate in their respective NSA class World Series o In the event a class “GOLD” team participates in the class “ELITE” World Series,, and earns a berth to the NSA "ELITE" Super World Series by order of finish (not a pass down berth) The team will be permitted to participate in either the class “ELITE” or class “GOLD” Super World Series • In the event the team elects to play in the class “ELITE” Super World Series they will forfeit all travel money earned as a class “GOLD” team. The travel money will NOT be forwarded to the class “ELITE” Super World Series. In the event a class “GOLD” team wins the class “ELITE” World Series, that team may still play in their class “GOLD” Super World Series, providing said team has earned such a berth. • The travel money from the class “ELITE” World Series will NOT be forwarded to the class “GOLD” Super World if the teams elects to play the class “GOLD” rather the class “ELITE” Super World. In the event a class “GOLD” wins the class “ELITE” World Series, said team shall be a mandatory "UPGRADE" to class “ELITE” the following year “WITHOUT APPEAL” o Any travel money won by a class “GOLD” team at the class “ELITE” World Series and the class “GOLD” team is not playing in the class “ELITE” Super World will be passed to the next highest finishing team that is playing in the class “ELITE” Super World Series
