I want to thank all of the players that made it down for the event. You guys represented Michigan with class and style. It was a great bunch to work with for the weekend. You really made me proud and made it worthwhile for me to be a part of this.
The concept for this event is a very good one and I can only hope they will do more to promote it and fine tune the rules. This was the first of its kind for a lower Michigan team and you represtented well.
Thanks again to Mike Pratt, John Sully, John Springsdorf, Josh Burget, Andrew Bishop, Jerry Huntoon, John Lambert, Jason Selvridge, Matt Needham, Fred Papendick, Mike Kisner, Mike Valesek and James Courtney for making this a memorable event. I could not have asked more from anyone of you. It was a pleasure to coach you and meet many of you for the first time.
To the guys who were also asked and could not make it you were missed but you were at least warm and dry.
For those players that could have been asked but were not I can only truly say you have my aplogy if you think I slighted you and you have no idea how hard it is to do something like this. I knew that going in but you would have been proud of this team.
