Galaxy: GDX48T GDX93T GDX95T GDX919 GDX929 GDX949 GDX959 GDX979 Magnum: Magnum S3 Magnum S9 Magnum S45 Maverick A24 Northpoint: NT3HP NT6HP NT9HP Texas Ranger: TR121 TR296 TR396 TR696 TR936 TR939 TR966 TR969 Virage: VX129CN VX129VN we're already hearing that you can't operate the new magnums into 2 pill amplifiers, the current information available on the web is inaccurate and all other misleading information concerning these new entries, along with a large number of shops providing excuses why they won't service them, the same old stuff, just another bunch of radios, just another day. most of the comments are coming from people who don't have any business inside of them in the first place. if you happen by the shop with one of these new radios rest assured that you'll receive the same knowledgeable, top-notch service that you've grown accustomed to in the older models that have been around for several years. don't allow your new rig to wind up as a "guinea pig" for some wannabe cb guy. a mentor of mine told me once when discussing solid-state transistor devices that the bottom line was that they are all just "rocks." well, for the experienced and seasoned service technician in regard to the new models now entering the market, "they are all just radios." a new gimmick here and there and even mic wiring instructions encircling the microphone connectors for dummies who don't know how to wire microphones but other than that there's nothing really new in any of them. a bell here and a whistle there, but it's enough to drive the novice into a tailspin. don't get caught up in it with them. you deserve better for your investment than to provide in-house training for a bunch of chop shops. the radios listed here are a combination of what i have seen coming thru the shop here along with the ones that seem to be getting most of the attention on the internet. 228
