the fact that you have seen so many of them should tell you one of two things. either they have plenty of money to handle any lawsuits or they don't have to worry about it because they simply evaluate the work using responsible, reasonable, technically sound criteria upon which they base their claims and informing the consumer public and telling the truth in an organized effort to see to it that they get their moneys worth doesn't bother them. as far as witch hunts go, if chop shops and so called radio shops that destroy their customers equipment for no good reason at all except for the purpose of getting into the consumers wallet or pocketbook without having the necessary qualifications to do the job properly makes them witches then we're warning the consumer public about them. the word "hunt" here though would be totally inaccurate as the majority of these customers come to us as does their butchered equipment. we don't have to hunt for them at all. the above posts merely constitute your collective opinions and quite frankly, you're welcome to them. those of us who feel the need to deal with our customers in an open and honest manner see it as our responsibility to educate our customers as well as provide the necessary services. it's just too bad that you don't see it the same way. in 33 years i have literally spoken with thousands of people and the one thing i have heard from all of them is that they would rather spend their money once to have the job done properly then to continue romping through the circus that is the unregulated cb radio industry. if you would take the time to listen to them they would tell you you the same thing. shame on you. one "way to deal" is to stay away from shops such as these. in other words, to "deal with it" is to not "deal with them". the subject is not open for further discussion. ramble on.
